About Northminster Baptist Church
We are a multicultural Baptist church located in North York, a short walk from York University Keele Campus. Dedicated to growing in love and knowledge for God, we are committed to gospel-centered Bible teaching and cultivating a gospel-shaped community. Since we opened our doors on October 15th, 1967, our prayer-filled hope is to be a gospel witness, being faithful to Jesus by making him known in the Jane and Finch community and beyond. Though the neighbourhood around the church has changed since 1967, our hope hasn't. We are not perfect but we pursue Christ together and aim to bring others along with us. We would love for you to join us on Sunday.
Northminster Baptist Church is a member of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches (FEB Canada).

Pastor - Scott Hurst
Scott served in youth ministry and was trained through church-based theological education with the Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development, before coming to NBC in September 2021. He longs to see NBC help the gospel take up residence in local neighbourhoods and foreign shores. Scott enjoys basketball, books and all things superhero. Next to knowing Christ, his greatest treasure is being married to Faye and the gift of their two wonderful sons.
